Your first lesson
I remember my first lesson years ago. I was excited and yet very nervous because I didn't know what to expect. We have all been there; it's nothing new. When we meet I will greet you with a warm handshake and a friendly smile . I will need to see your provisional driving license and I will also check your eyesight by asking you to read a car number plate from a short distance.
My job from then on is to put you at ease and help you relax. I will probably ask you a little bit about yourself what your likes and dislikes are. The mood should be relaxed and low key. From then you will find out all about the controls of the car, then after a short while we will do some driving. Driving should be taken seriously but it should also be fun; so lets have a laugh! If you are not enjoying your lesson, then you won't learn. Remember you are in a learning environment; a moving classroom. It's like being back at school but more fun!
What to bring: Your driving license, and yourself! (Some comfortable footwear is a wise move.)
